I have been using this stuff since the late 60's when I had red stripe tires on my '65 Mustang. The soap would turn pink. That's how effective it was. Just don't leave it sit on polished aluminum too long.

Bring back the original Westley's
I loved the Westley's tire cleaner, it was awesome. Then, black magic somehow got thier hands in the mix and totally destroyed the product. Today I bought 3 bottles from Advance Auto Parts thinking it was going to work as good as the Westleys. Hey, it's the same shape bottle so it MUST be the same product and just as good... right?? Oh man, was I wrong. Nice job on the your deceptive marketing black magic! I wasted an entire bottle on 2 of my cars and the tires look worse then when I started. The last 2 bottles will go back to Advance Auto tomorrow and I will be looking for another tire cleaner. Also, I'll never, Never, NEVER, purchase another black magic product. When you "reformulate" a product, I would think it would be to make it better. When you do this and the product SUCKS, you have to wonder if the company is really paying attention. Westley's good, black magic... bad. Do a search for Westley's and you'll see how many folks are still looking for this awesome product. If there was a zero rating it would have given it that.

Great product but be careful
This is a great product to use on tires that have white walls or white wall lettering. Do not get this on your wheels because it will leave a chalky residue/look to the wheels especially chrome ones. It contains acid. Wear eye protecting when using this product because you don’t want to get wheel acid in your eye. Been there done that. If you spray some accidentally onto your wheels spray off immediately with water. Then take some soap and scrub your wheels. You may end up having to applying some polish to them.
