In addition, Cooling System Repair contains Xtreme Cool which stops overheating and reduces water temperature. Good price
It worked for a while!
I used it as prescribed! It did stop the leak for about 2 weeks! Then it started leaking again. So I bought another one. It stopped the leak. It's been about a week later now and I see that the leak came back! But this time I just didn't add anymore. I just watched it. Did I noticed that my radiator fan wasn't working anymore! That's a real red flag! So I'm trying to save money. But it looks like I have to rest the car for now. Because it isn't running hot . Yet! But I don't want any further damage. So I guess within the next couple of days I will be heading to the shop. Mine is a 2009 Venza! Until now I've had no problems. Knock on wood! But for a temporary fix! It's worth it until the next pay check But I wouldn't recommend to keep using it over & over. Hopefully I haven't done more damage. Driving it periodically I could smell the Bar's leak inside the car. I mean it's not meant to be a fix all! Keep it temporary! I'll keep you posted!
So far so good

Local shop diagnosed a radiator leak. I had probably been adding a gallon or more a month for the last few months. It's an engine with almost 300,000 miles on it so i was willing to take a chance. As of today, about two weeks later, it seems to have no leak, or if any, very little. And this is definitely long enough to show up based on how it had been. I haven't seen any signs of trouble (thermostat sticking or not closing, etc).
Worked For a While
It actually worked. 2005 Ford Taurus 3.0 OHV (VIN #"U") with 92,000 miles on it had a coolant leak at the top of the timing cover on the firewall side (typical for these cars though my 3 other older Tauruses never had this problem). It was using around a quart per week. I put in a 1/2 dose and the problem was solved and the heater and radiator seemed unaffected. However, 7 weeks later the leak came back with a vengeance. I blame the car not the product. Too cold for me to make the repairs so it's in the shop for $700. Good temporary fix for my particular problem... oh well.
