So far, so good
For a while my 1999 Chevy Blazer leaked coolant, at first just a few drops a week. Then it progressed to me being able to see coolant coming out from under the car onto the ground after shutting the car off. My monthly routine of adding coolant to the reservoir and radiator turned into a weekly routine, at least. We will have this car paid off in February of 2011 and have already dumped a ton of money into it. My mantra for the last few months has been to spend no more big money on this thing. Just hold it together until it is paid off, at least. As time went on I would add coolant to the reservoir, drive it around long enough for the engine to get hot (has not overheated) and then returned home. I check the reservoir and poof, all fluid is gone, even minutes after coming home. All on the driveway.I went to Advance Auto and got Bars Stop Leaks, part #1109: Turn engine off and wait until it is cool enough to take Radiator cap off. Then, pour entire contents into radiator. This took longer than I would have thought, like 5 minutes, as the stuff is pretty thick. Then, top off with anti-freeze, which I was unable to do at first because the treatment is thick and takes a while to move. So I just put in as much anti-freeze as possible in radiator and also top off reservoir. Put the radiator cap back on. Turn heat on high and all the way into the red (hottest heat) then turn car on. Run for 5 minutes straight with heat on high. Then, turn car off, and when engine is cool enough, check radiator and top off fluid in both reservoir and radiator, as the 5 minutes with the heat on has allowed everything to circulate. I topped everything off on Saturday. It is now Monday and I have not seen a drop of anti-freeze and even the smell has disappeared. It has only been 2 days, so who knows. And for $3.00 or so I will continue to do this again and again if need be. But I am hopeful that this will work.

It didn't fix my heater coil
This didn't fix the leak in my heater core. I had seen and smelled antifreeze evaporating in through my front vents, and got this to hopefully avoid a costly repair. I think mine might have been too far gone, though. It seemed to work well enough when I put it in. For about two weeks, there was very little evaporation. But today it was billowing out much heavier than it was before. I don't think it's a problem with the product itself although it may not be particularly suited to heater cores over some other parts, but it's a complete bust for me.

This Does Work...
If you people think this is going to work to seal your bucket sized antifreeze leak it won't. If you have a small crack or leak coming from somewhere it will seal it if it's a small leak. All i can say this is amazing i already put 20,000 more on and still going.

Awesome product
I use this product to seal an engine block leak in a 2002 Ford windstar. I monitored the coolant level in the reservoir until it was just about empty. I then poured the Block Seal... into the reservoir and run the engine until all was sucked into radiator/motor. I then fill the reservoir with coolant. NO MORE LEAK. Simply AWESOME!

Envoy plagued by over heating problems
I had my 2005 envoy in the shop 5 times in 3 months because the vehicle would overheat only after driving 40 minutes at highway speeds, and then would only start to overheat after I slowed down. They replaced the thermostat, clutch fan and pressure tested the system which was fine vehicle would still overheat and they came to the conclusion it had to be a cracked head. Went and bought this product which did not require draining the system, followed the directions, and drove for three hours the next day and it ran cool andbeautifully! Very pleased highly recommend.

Seals
After the slight leak at the base of My timing cover on My 1995 Camaro 3.4 litre engine would not go away after using the cheaper bottles of stop leak I was hesitant to spend more money on more products that were sure to waste my time and money. However, I was not ready to tear down the complete front of my motor for slow leak and was tired of adding coolant every time I drove somewhere. I bit the bullet and spent the money on the Liquid Copper. I Drove my car several hundred miles for the holidays with confidence. Still no leaks. This stuff is amazing.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
