Does not fit
I have a 2000 Silverado 1500 regular cab. Cable is NOT a direct factory replacement. The column side of the cable is longer than stock. When connected to the gear lever it will not go up past reverse, even when the trans side is disconnected. ONLY get this cable if you plan on relocating the bracket on the column back about 1/2. Which would require cutting and re-welding.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
ATP replacement shift cable

Would be more helpful to have known the disassembly procedures for removing the old cable along with the included installation instructions. Also would have been a great help to know the seat needed to be unbolted!

1/4" too short
Used on a 1998 Sierra and it ended up having every gear except park. Adjusted all the way out and still too short by 1/4". Bought a pioneer cable and had no problems. This surprised me because I have never had a bad ATP product and have used them since 1993.
