The Seal must have been old because when I removed the white tape there was no sticky on the seal. So I used contact cement to adhere the seal to the truck bed top. (Note: I later bought another seal to build the thickness up another 3/16", same part number, and this time the the seal was sticky after taking off the white tape, and I did not have to use contact cement to adhere the seal.) The seal itself is a quality product.
Too Short
Measure very carefully as I was about 3 short on the front after running it full length on both sides of my cap. Most other weather stripping kits are 25' and this one is 22'. This gets very expensive to half to spend another $28 just for 3.I have a fullsize 8' bed on my 2007 Dodge 3500.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
