MITs are constructed from cross-linked, high-density polyethylene, built each for a specific vehicle make And model, And can be used to simply replace your stock air intake tube or can be added to an AIRAID Cold Air Dam QuickFit series system. Installation is easy And can be done in only a few minutes with a few simple tools. Mounting hardware is included along with easy-to-follow instructions. Some AIRAID air intake components are not legal for sale or use in California And other states adopting California emission standards, while others are 50 state legal. Easy installation, all the parts were there and the instructions are straight forward. I gained an instant boost in low end horse power and torque when going up hills especially when towing a vehicle. Seems to have picked up 2mpg in the city and about .7mpg on the highway. For a big SUV that's great and will pay for itself quickly.

About the only thing I feel could be improved upon would be the installation instructions. The sheet that came with the order was rather vague in my opinion. You can eventually figure it out, but why have to when you shouldn't, right? Otherwise, I'm very happy with the product and with AdvanceAutoParts. This was my first order with them, but will not be my last!
