Poor Quality
I usually do not write reviews on products and I have always been an Accel fan, until this part. I bought the cap even though there were mostly bad reviews and I wish I never had. The 98 Suburban I put this cap on would throw the P0345 run extremely rough and even lose power on hills. I hope that anyone planning on ordering this cap will think twice and go with the Delphi or AC Delco. Yes they cost more but will not give you the headaches this distributor cap does. I am saddened that Accel would produce such poor quality parts.

Not the Accel I Have Known
I hadn't used Accel for quite a number of years, but needed a new cap and thought this one would be superior for my Suburban. Long story short, roughly one week after I put it on, cap shorted between cyl 3 and 7. Left me stranded in HOT summer temps in the middle of a downtown major metro area with three kids (under age 6), my wife, and mother-in-law in the car. The only distributor cap I've ever seen fail. I didn't think Accel would be the one to do it. No, I would not buy it again.

Not Recommended
Had two of these caps. First one made it 14k miles before starting some minor misfiring due to corrosion. 2nd one made it less than 100 miles before very suddenly causing MAJOR misfires. In light of my experience and other reviews, I'd say the quality control on these caps is probably not great. Stay away!

I had the cap on for two days and #7 and #3 cylinders malfunctioned. I had to return it to the store, after going through a two-day diagnostic process trying to figure out what was happening with my truck.
